Brainstorming Post 2

I think that there should be a documentary about rapper Jay Z, and honestly it blows my mind there isn't one yet. With a net worth of over $500 million, 50 million albums sold worldwide, and 17 Grammy awards, he is somewhat of a powerhouse in the music industry. But also what is so interesting about him is the theme of mystery he holds in his life. I think it's interesting someone married to Beyonce Knowles is relatively unknown on a certain level. I think it would be interesting to find out more about how he got to where he is, where he came from, and what his plans are for the future.

Spaghetti Western Media Project

I have always loved spaghetti westerns, (the "genre" became popular after US film critics began calling Italian-made westerns "spaghetti westerns"), and came up with a pretty funny idea.  So, it would be a short film that takes place in a "western-esque" setting, and an Italian family moves into the town and wants to open an Italian eatery. But the towns head honcho won't let this happen because, well, this town ain't big enough for the two of them. So in the end, the Italian chef and the ruthless thug must compete in a cook off to see who stays in town.

My name is Trey York. I'm a 20 year old Graphic Design student from South Bend, IN. Creativity and perceived limits, are what keep me interested in creating media. I'm always trying to push myself one step beyond what I think I can accomplish, and crossing the line of what I think I cannot do. When I graduate, a goal of mine is to run an art and culture website full time, something I do for fun on the side right now. I also would like to move to Philadelphia, PA and work for my employers head quarters as a designer of print advertisements.
